X-Cidol® 2 is a detergent-disinfectant that acts as a :
Detergent.
Bactericide.
Fungicide.
Mycobactericide.
Virucide: PRV (surrogate of Hepatitis B virus), BVDV (surrogate of Hepatitis C virus), and Herpes Simplex.
Complies with the following standards:
EN 1040 with a 12 min contact time.
EN 1275 with a 12 min contact time.
EN 14563 with a 12 min contact time.
EN 13727 in dirty conditions.
Contains no aldehyde or glyoxal.
X-Cidol® 2 can also be used in soaking trays for soiled dental instruments.
X-Cid® eliminates 96% of initial contamination inside instruments (tests conducted with the Swedish residual soiling test as per the ISO TS 15883-5 standard, Appendix M, for washer-disinfectors).
Tests have shown that X-Cid® combined with X-Cidol® 2 reaches an efficiency level over than 6-log reduction on following microorganisms: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus salivarius, and Candida albicans.
