The stericop Wash-Checks Monitor ia an easy to use prepared test for determining the effectiveness of the wash phase of a hospital washer/disinfector.

Application:
The test is placed in a Wash-Checks Holder for easy placement throughout the washer chamber. The test soil (red dot) simulates human blood and tissue debris. When placed in the holder the test soil is half obscured, simulating the join of a surgical instrument. The removal of all test soil indicates effective cleaning.
